A great weekend had by all....

Arlington Park picnic with Kaitlyn & Grace

Climbing at the arboretum

Wading with the tad poles

Posing for the camera

This weekend was so nice.  I spent Saturday pampering myself and Lee took Taylor to the Morton Arboretum.  Taylor was so excited to spend the day with just her and daddy. She popped out of bed at 5:55am (yikes) and came to us and asked to go to the Arboretum.  She actually pronounced it very well.

Taylor is doing great in her new room.  She is now a Star Fish & her favorite thing to pretend is that she is the teacher and she gets to teach her kids.  I'll answer a question that I think she is asking me to have her tell me that she is not talking to me she is asking one of the kids.  Quite funny.  She still loves going to the park, riding her bike and just being outside.  She looks forward to Thursdays, when she spends the day with Grandma and Grandpa.  Last weekend Conner, her fav cousin, was over and we celebrated his 7th birthday.  I can't believe that he is already 7.  Taylor is obsessed with him and is his shadow.  She also talks about him all the time.  It's really touching to see how much she loves him.

Hanging out in Naperville & enjoying this beautiful weather.   Jenna & Matthew were in town so we headed out to the suburbs & had a great lunch and walked around town. Lee was in California visiting friends & Taylor has been missing him dearly.  She is very excited to go to the airport Monday & pick him up.

Our new blog

We have decided to create a new blog & hopefully this site works better than the last one.  It is the beginning of spring of 2009.  Wow, time is just flying by and we have been very busy trying to take it all in.  Taylor is now 3 going on 13.  She is doing great and still as happy as can be.  We just finished our 3rd tennis lesson & she seems to like it a lot.  I think she might have a crush on the one teacher.  We have recently decided to enroll her in pre-school in a private school in Chicago.  We have out grown the daycare and think she needs a bit more stimulation.  She finally is potty trained except for overnights. We'll have to start that transition soon.  We are looking forward to a great summer with a ton of activities to keep us busy.
